The Hurt Arms will be closing for at least 1 month after lunchtime on Wednesday 4th November 2020, This is inline with the latest 'lockdown' announcement from the government.
Our reception will be open throughout lockdown Monday to Thursday, 9am til 5pm so if you have any questions or want to make any future bookings please don't hesitate to get in touch.
We hope to be able to re-open in time for the festive season! Our priority has always been you; our couples, guests and visitors. In order to keep you and our staff safe, we will be stringently following recommendations of Public Health England and the World Health Organisation when we re-open. Over the last few months, we have put measures in place to improve safety and hygiene wherever possible in the restaurant and will continue to follow advised procedures until all of the government sanctions have been lifted. Our full risk assessment can be viewed here.
Thank you as always for your continued support of our venue, We hope to see you soon!
So what next?
If you have booked your wedding day with us please know this is not the end of your special day, even though it is incredibly distressing it is simply on hold until we can all celebrate in safety – Your day will come and it will be even more special.
You will have already been in close conversation with our wedding team to find a way forward, but if you have any further questions or queries please email our Wedding and Events Manager, Shannon on email@example.com.
Virtual meetings and email conversations will still be available so you can carry on with the exciting part - Planning your big day!
We are now able to do socially distanced show arounds of our wedding venue, you can arrange this by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are still taking bookings for the end of 2020 and
"We're nervous to spend when things are financially uncertain"
"I'm reluctant to reserve a date with so much uncertainty around lockdown..."
A little something from us.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this time.
