Following the latest government announcement that Derbyshire will remain in Tier 3, we will unfortunately remained closed until further notice.
We are sure you are as saddened as us that we are not able to open over the festive period, and would like to thank everyone who booked to stay or dine with us.
Anyone with a booking over the next few weeks will have this automatically cancelled free of charged. Our reception team will be in touch over the next few days if you are booked to dine with us on Christmas Day, to discuss this with you.
We are hoping that in the New Year we will be able to re-open and start the year a fresh. So if you do want to book to visit us then you can do so via the website or by emailing our reservation team on
Our priority has always been you; our couples, guests and visitors. In order to keep you and our staff safe, we will be stringently following recommendations of Public Health England and the World Health Organisation when we re-open. Over the last few months, we have put measures in place to improve safety and hygiene wherever possible in the restaurant and will continue to follow advised procedures until all of the government sanctions have been lifted. So what next?
If you have booked your wedding day with us please know this is not the end of your special day, even though it is incredibly distressing it is simply on hold until we can all celebrate in safety – Your day will come and it will be even more special.

Virtual meetings and email conversations will still be available so you can carry on with the exciting part - Planning your big day!
