Reasons to be the first in 2020...

New year, new beginnings - What better time to begin your life together?

You may know several people tying the knot next year, get ahead of the summer wedding trend and be one of the first to get married in 2020! As well as our wonderful packages and bonuses that we are offering to top off your dream day, there are many other reasons that saying 'I Do' in the first three months of the year could be just for you...

1.

You can save THOUSANDS!

(Jo Greenfield Photography)

Every wedding has a budget and where you decide to assign your budget is completely unique. You can have the highest expectations on your styling, dress, venue, photographer and more, but being flexible on your wedding date can soon save staggering amounts of money. Enabling you to put more towards those extra place settings, wedding breakfast upgrade or maybe those beautiful canapés to welcome your guests.

This isn't just true for our venue, prices are lower for suppliers too so you'll be saving all round! Why not now upgrade to that designer dress which would've been over budget? Or maybe those Jimmy Choos are now in sight... Yep, it could happen!

2.

STEP AWAY FROM THE TREND!

With years of experience working with couples on their wedding days, we understand how every wedding is unique and how this is something you're keen to highlight! Because let's be honest, a lot of people do choose to get married.

Your wedding will be completely memorable for your guests, frost underfoot and cosy warming food. People's calendars also tend to be quieter at this time of year so your guests are much more likely to be able to attend. They will be completely ready to party and share your excitement because it will most likely be the first big social event they're attending!

3.

AVAILABILITY.

The first few months of the year not only save money, your Saturday wedding is more likely to be available at later notice. (Some summer Saturdays are reserved up to 3 years in advance!) This also applies to your suppliers.

Your dream florist that you've been following on Instagram for years, or that photographer you read about in your bridal magazine, piece together your fairytale day with a far greater chance of your favourite suppliers being around to help you!

4.

THE WEATHER.

Yes that is listed as a positive.

You'll notice if you attend weddings in the winter months, steps have been taken for a potential dreary day, or even a sprinkle of snow. That way the stress isn't there! Your guests will have layers, the attendees in 3 piece suits are wonderfully toasty (and not sweaty like in summer!) Besides, we are based in England. Peak of summer July can and very often does rain, and often are planned without a contingency plan for you or your guests. (No one likes beautiful summer outfits getting drenched in the downpour!)

With winter weddings becoming more and more popular, there is also more advice on embracing whatever weather appears on your special day. Embrace the weather whatever it may be, and focus on having a wonderful day.
