A Wedding Story: Keyley & Hadyn

K E Y L E Y & H A D Y N

Keyley and Hadyn's love story started as teenagers, they finally tied the knot in August this year after rearranging their winter wedding. We were very lucky to catch up with Keyley and ask her all about their magical wedding day at The Hurt Arms...

1. How did you meet?

Teenage sweethearts.

2. Did you have any postponements/rearrangements due to Covid?

Yes, our original day was the 4th of January 2021.

3. What made you choose The Hurt Arms?

We stumbled upon it one night and fell in love with the place, it's very 'us'.

4. What was the highlight of your day?

Everything! Rachel was amazing and made the day so effortless for us.

5. Did you hire any wedding extras from us?

Yes, a couple but the bouncy castle was THE best decision we could have made. The children had an amazing time so the adults did too.

6. Do you have any hacks/tips for other couples to make your day run smoothly?

Just enjoy every second, the staff truly made our day. We wanted our day to be full of laughter and they joined in, we couldn't have wished for better.

7. Did you write your own vows?

No, but we each did a speech as our bridal party was very small.

8. What was your inspiration for your wedding styling?

With the original wedding being in winter, we opted for navy and gold, the venue stylist suggested we keep that colour scheme as it would suit the room and we are

so so happy we did!

9. Which suppliers did you use for your day?

Gemma White Weddings and Events for the styling and flowers, Gazza's DJ Hire for our entertainment, YumCake by Gosia for our cake, Matt Guest Photography, LVLOX Academy for bridal hair, Marc Darcy for our suits and The Wedding HQ for mine and the MOH dress.

10. Will you miss planning a wedding?

We miss the whole thing. We plan to go and have a night in the bridal suite for our

one year anniversary!

11. Is there anything you would change about your day?

Absolutely nothing! Everything was perfect and we have The Hurt Arms to thank for that.
